Can non-hunters join?
Non-hunters can join on any trip that is planned, at an additional cost of $150 per person per day. Meals and accommodation are included.
Can I hunt multiple animals?
Absolutely. Hunters can hunt as many additional animals as they please during the week's hunt. Let us know your preferred species ahead of time so we can plan the best possible hunt.
What are the pickup and drop-off options and fees?
Option 1 — Clients fly from the USA into OR Tambo International Airport, are picked up from the JHB airport and driven to the lodge. Priced at $180 per person, one way.
Option 2 — Clients fly into OR Tambo International Airport, then take a connecting flight to Polokwane Airport, where they are picked up and driven to the lodge. Priced at $100 per person, one way.
Can I rent a rifle?
Yes. Rifles can be rented at $75/day including ammunition. Most plains game animals are hunted with a suppressed .30-06 caliber rifle.
Can I bring my own rifle?
You're welcome to bring your own firearm with the proper airport clearances and paperwork. We'll help guide you through the necessary documentation.
Can I bring my own food?
You're welcome to do so. As camp is a distance from stores, it's advised to let us know in advance of any such products so we can have them ready for you.
Are meals included?
Yes — meals are included in the day rates, with a wide variety of options throughout the week.
What are the sleeping arrangements?
We offer comfortable rooms for both hunters and non-hunters to enjoy privacy and a good night's rest. Any special requests will be accommodated as best we can.
Are there any restrictions?
There are some restrictions on certain Big Five game due to limited permits. Any cat or primate will require the appropriate permits prior to hunting.
What should I pack?
Seasonally appropriate clothing, comfortable hunting footwear and layered options in earth tones for the field, plus casual attire for around camp.
